Adriana nasceu em São Paulo. Formou-se em Comunicação Social pela PUC-SP, estudou Documentário em cursos na PUC-SP, USP e Escuela Internacional de Cine y Tv (Cuba).

 

Seu mais novo documentário “As Primeiras” (78 min) teve sua estreia na Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes 2024 levando o prêmio de Melhor Filme pelo Juri popular. O filme vem sendo selecionado para diversos Festivais pelo mundo, tendo já passado pela Irlanda, Itália, Espanha, Canadá, Coréia do Sul, entre outros.

Em 2025 “Pau D'Arco” (89 min), estreou no Festival É Tudo Verdade, um filme sobre o maior massacre do século na Amazônia – projeto da Repórter Brasil em que assina o roteiro.

 

Seus três curtas-metragens também foram selecionados para vários festivais, como Festival É Tudo Verdade, Festival Internacional de Curtas do Rio de Janeiro e Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).

Em 2020 lançou "Um crime entre nós" (60 min), documentário sobre violência sexual contra crianças e adolescentes, que alcançou largo destaque na mídia e foi adquirido pela Globoplay.

Em 2021 integra o Núcleo Criativo de Desenvolvimento da produtora bigBonsai com mentoria de Kevin MacDonald, escrevendo uma série hibrida de ficção e documentário com a parceria de Katia Lund – projeto em fase de captação. Em 2022, colabora com Petra Costa dirigindo uma parte das filmagens do novo documentário da realizadora, Apocalipse nos Trópicos.

Para televisão, já dirigiu séries e projetos especiais para os canais ESPN, SporTv e Rede Globo.  Recentemente, dirigiu episódios para a série "Sociedade do Cansaço", disponível na Globoplay e "The World According to Football" – disponível na Showtime e Paramount + (EUA) – e premiada no Sports Emmy Award 2024.

Her latest documentary, The First Women (78 min), premiered at the 2024 Tiradentes Film Festival, winning the Best Film award by Audience Jury. The film has been selected for various festivals worldwide, including in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Canada, South Korea, among others.

In 2025, Paid in Blood  (89 min) premiered at the É Tudo Verdade Festival, a film about the largest massacre of the century in the Amazon—a project by Repórter Brasil, for which she wrote the script.

Her three short films have also been selected for several festivals, such as É Tudo Verdade Festival, Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival, and Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK).
In 2020, she released Um Crime Entre Nós (60 min), a documentary about sexual violence against children and adolescents, which gained wide media attention and was acquired by Globoplay.

In 2021, she joined the Creative Development Center of the production company bigBonsai, with mentorship from Kevin MacDonald, writing a hybrid fiction and documentary series in partnership with Katia Lund—a project currently in the fundraising phase. In 2022, she collaborated with Petra Costa, directing part of the filming for the filmmaker's new documentary, Apocalypse in the Tropics.

For television, she has directed series and special projects for ESPN, SporTV, and Rede Globo. Recently, she directed episodes for the series Sociedade do Cansaço, available on Globoplay, and The World According to Football—available on Showtime and Paramount+ (USA)—which won a 2024 Sports Emmy Award.
